What happens when you take away everything except sound? In The Dark is a groundbreaking immersive live experience that invites audiences to step into complete darkness, where music becomes the only guide.
With no visual distractions, every note, every breath and every movement takes on new meaning. Performed by a talented ensemble of 30 live musicians surrounding the audience, each show is designed to heighten your senses and create a deeply personal connection with the music. No two audiences are ever the same. In the darkness, you become part of the performance. There will be musicians moving and performing around you - in what we call ‘sound choreography’ - in ever changing formations. Imagine what that sound feels like - coming at you from… well… everywhere, and when the musicians & sound are so close you can almost feel them. And then add darkness.
Music will blend ambient, Scandi, nu-folk & experimental, with hints of electronic & classical and explore & rework obscure tracks by well-known artists as well as obscure tracks by obscure artists.
Touring beautiful cathedral spaces across the UK, HUSH transforms remarkable venues into intimate spaces where music is felt as much as it is heard.
This is a 75-minute seated performance and a completely new way of experiencing live music.
