St. Albans is a beautiful commuter market city located in the valley of the River Ver in Hertfordshire, an 18-minute train journey to London St. Pancras International, with a rich 2000-year history.

It has a quaint village feel with cobbled streets, a cathedral (the longest in the Country), England’s oldest pub, the only fully excavated Roman Amphitheatre in Britain and several medieval buildings!

St. Albans is blessed with a variety of open green spaces to explore, relax or exercise in. Verulamium Park, one of the best parts of living in St. Albans, is located bang in the city centre. It offers 100 acres of green space, a museum, an athletics track, a model boating lake to explore and much more. It is the perfect location for events all year round.

Another popular local spot, Clarence Park, is home to the football team and the cricket club. Summer Sunday afternoon concerts at the bandstand in Clarence Park are a treat for the whole family.

The city was recently named by The Sunday Times as ‘the best place in the southeast to live’, while another study found that it's the most popular city to raise a family.
