Can you support the new Rothamsted Park Skatepark?

The Playpark Action Rothamsted Committee (PARC) charity, is working closely with Harpenden Town Council to replace the Rothamsted Park Skatepark (which is in need of an update) and replace it with a new exciting one.

The design proposal is currently with the Local Planning Authority, with a decision due back in Winter 2023. Subject to reaching the fundraising target, it is hoped that the build can go ahead in Summer/Autumn 2024.

Harpenden Town Council have pledged £100,000 towards the project but PARC needs additional funding to reach the £250,000 target.

Help Build Harpenden’s skatepark – Buy a brick!

You can help them achieve this target by donating just £100, and In return, you can put a name or personal message on an inscribed paver that will be installed along a new pathway to the skatepark. To order a brick please visit the charity website www.parc.charity.

PARC is also asking companies to donate £2,500 to have their company name and logo displayed on a donor display board, to be located at the entrance to the skatepark. Spaces are limited to just 10. If you would be interested and would like further information, please email Rod on roderick_cooley@yahoo.co.uk, or Lisa on emailparc@gmail.com.

Donations of any amount would of course be gratefully received, please do get in touch to discuss.

“The PARC charity successfully fund raised and worked with Harpenden Town Council to deliver the Rothamsted Park Play Area and we would love to bring this new project to life – please help us to do this for our community”.
