Meet The Member - Elevated by Clementine
We caught up with Clementine, founder of Elevated by Clementine and a valued member of We Are St. Albans, to learn more about her journey and the inspiration behind creating a business that combines personal styling, wellness, and life coaching to help women build confidence from the inside out.
We are happy to have you as part of We Are St Albans! Could you tell us a little about your journey — what did you do before starting Elevated, and what inspired you to create a business that blends personalised fashion styling with wellness and life coaching?
Before Elevated, I was already working in fashion and styling, very close to women, understanding their needs, their lifestyle, their insecurities also. I loved it, but I could feel something was missing.
I could help a woman look amazing, but sometimes she would still not feel it fully. And this stayed with me. I have always been very interested in personal growth, in wellbeing, in understanding ourselves on a deeper level. So for me, it became very clear that style alone is not enough.
Elevated came very naturally from this. I wanted to create something more complete, where we don’t only work on the outside, but also on what is happening inside. Because confidence is not just what you wear, it is how you think, how you feel, how you live your life.
Elevated empowers women to embody confidence and clarity, inside and out. What do you find most rewarding about guiding clients through both outer transformations and inner personal growth?
What I love the most is the moment when everything clicks for them. When they start to see themselves differently, not just in the mirror, but in how they speak, how they make decisions, how they show up in their life. It is a very powerful shift.
It is never only about clothes or a session. It is about a woman reconnecting with herself, sometimes after years of putting herself last. Being part of this process, honestly, it is very special.
Running a business in St Albans, what do you enjoy most about being part of the local community, and how does the area influence the way you deliver your services?
I really love the energy in St Albans. It feels both dynamic and calm at the same time, which is quite rare.
There is a strong community feeling, and people really value quality, wellbeing, and a more balanced lifestyle. This resonates a lot with Elevated. It allows me to create experiences that feel more personal, more thoughtful, and not rushed. Also, building real relationships with clients locally makes the work much more meaningful. It is not just a service, it becomes a journey we share.
Your philosophy combines style, mindset, and life alignment. What values or principles guide Elevated by Clementine in supporting clients across personal styling, wellness, and life coaching?
For me, everything starts with authenticity. I never want a woman to feel like she has to become someone else. It is really about coming back to who she is, maybe rediscovering parts of herself she forgot or didn’t have time to explore.
There is also intention. We don’t do things randomly. Every choice, whether it is what you wear or how you organise your life, should support who you want to be. And of course, empowerment. Not in a loud way, but in a very grounded way. Helping women trust themselves again, this is at the heart of Elevated.
You offer a range of services, from bridal and personal styling to wellness coaching and Ikigai life coaching. How do you tailor your approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each client?
No journey is the same, and this is something I really respect. I always start by listening. Sometimes a client comes for styling, but we quickly realise there is something deeper she wants to work on. And sometimes it is the opposite.
So I adapt everything. The pace, the focus, the tools we use. It is very intuitive but also very intentional. I want each woman to feel that this is truly designed for her, not something generic.
Many people feel uncertain when exploring new fashion or wellness experiences. How does Elevated by Clementine help clients feel confident, comfortable, and supported from the very first session?
I think this is very important, because it can feel quite vulnerable. From the beginning, I create a space where there is no judgement. You can come exactly as you are. You don’t need to have everything figured out, or to already feel confident.
We take it step by step. I guide, but I never push. And very quickly, clients feel more at ease, because they realise this is not about changing who they are, but about understanding themselves better.
Fashion, wellness, and life coaching are constantly evolving. How do you stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques to ensure clients receive the best experience possible?
I stay curious, always. In fashion, I follow trends of course, but I am very selective. Not everything is relevant for real life. I focus on what is timeless, what can truly work for my clients.
For coaching and wellbeing, I invest a lot in learning, reading, and exploring different approaches. But again, I keep what feels aligned with my philosophy. It is not about doing more, it is about doing what really makes a difference.
Looking ahead, are there any new services, initiatives, or developments at Elevated by Clementine that you’re particularly excited to introduce?
Yes, I am very excited about creating more shared experiences. I would love to bring women together through workshops or small group sessions, because there is something very powerful when you realise you are not alone in what you are going through.
I am also working on more structured journeys, where clients can experience a deeper transformation over time, combining styling and life coaching in a more integrated way.
For women who might be considering combining personal styling with wellness coaching for the first time, what would you say to encourage them to take that step and experience Elevated?
I would say, if you feel the pull, trust it. You don’t need to have a clear plan or a perfect reason. Sometimes it is just a feeling that something needs to shift. And combining styling with wellbeing is a very beautiful way to start, because you work on both how you feel and how you express yourself. It becomes something much more complete.
When you’re not working with clients, where’s your favourite place in St Albans to relax, recharge, or find inspiration for your work?
I love going to Verulamium Park. It is one of my favourite places to slow down, walk, and just think. Nature helps me reset, and often this is where I get my best ideas, when I am not forcing anything.
Finally, tell us a fun fact about yourself.
A fun fact… I would say I am always pushing myself a little bit outside of my comfort zone. Whether it is travelling, trying something new, or just saying yes to something that feels a bit scary. I really believe this is where we grow the most, and I try to live this in my own life, not only talk about it
