We were invited this week to attend the Press Night of Jack and The Bean Stalk, which is this years Panto at The Alban Arena in St. Albans, Hertfordshire.
Evolution Productions are behind this fun family show which includes a top class cast including TV actor Shaun Williamson (well known as Barry in Eastenders), legendary Ian Kirkby as Dame Trott, Chanice Alexander-Burnett (Fantine in Les Miserables), AJ Jenks (Buddy Holly), Damian Patton and Lauren Chia (frozen). The amazing cast was supported by a brilliant ensemble.
Jack and the Beanstalk was a lovely family pantomime with lavish sets, comedy, audience participation and special effects. It of course included the Panto classics such as “It’s behind you”, to great fun-filled surprises and hilarious jokes.
We went as a group of adults who love a panto and we can highly recommend this for a group of friends or with your family and little ones.
