The All-New Adventures of Peter Pan 
Coronation Street Legend Chris Gascoyne will star as Captain Hook, alongside CBeebies Maddie Moate as Tinkerbell, and St Albans’ favourite Ian Kirkby as Mrs Smee.

Annual charity Carol Concert 
Annual charity concert at the cathedral sung by the Hertfordshire Chorus and with proceeds going to the charity Willow.

When:  Tuesday 5th December 2023, 19:30.

About: The St. Albans Cathedral is the oldest site of continuous Christian worship in Britain. It is a place of faith with an incredible history and beauty, that puts on remarkable events for all ages.  The Hertfordshire Chorus has chosen singers who audition for their parts and explore a wider range of music than most large symphonic choirs.

Baby Broadway Christmas 
West End singers perform favourites for Christmas from Elf, White Christmas, The Snowman, Frozen and many more.  Festive fancy dress is encouraged, as is clapping and singing along!

About: Ovo Theatre is a theatre production company based in St. Albans who put on modern versions of the classics at the Ovo Theatre in the Maltings and, at the open-air Verulam theatre. Baby Broadway concerts feature the talents of professional West End performers who have been in hit shows such as Les Misérables, Matilda, The Phantom of the Opera and Motown.

The Big Choir Christmas Show 
This charity choir will be doing a special Christmas evening with festive cheer, fundraising for Cancer Research.  
Where: St Paul's Church, Blandford Road, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL1 4JP. 
When: Tuesday 12th December, 19:30-21:30. 
Tickets: £10 for adults, under 16’s £5. 
About: A choir fundraising for Cancer Research and specifically The Francis Crick Institute, who through raise money through monthly subscriptions, collections and ticket sales to events.

Books on the Hill Festive Quiz
The quiz features multiple-choice questions, picture rounds, guess the music round and a raffle (for age 14+).

Hugely popular indoor Christmas Market with Family Festive Films and an activity area.

Resident production company put on this magical CS Lewis show, suitable for ages 7+.

About: The Abbey Theatre was a purpose-built theatre opened in 1967 and thanks to the support of the local community, puts on regular performances for all ages.  The Company of Ten is St Albans’ oldest and most prestigious theatrical group who built, own and run the Abbey Theatre.

Live Nativity Trail and Carols at St. Albans Cathedral |
Embrace the festivities within the splendour of the cathedral, with carols sung on the hour every hour and a live nativity trail with characters from the nativity bringing the story to life.

When: Saturday 16th December carols every hour on the hour 11:00-17:00 and nativity trail 12:00-15:00. 
Tickets: None required for carols, nativity trails can be collected for free on the day at the Cathedral.

Oaklands Zoo Christmas Fun 
Pop down to see the exotic animals ready for Christmas, with carols in the barn, Christmas karaoke and a reindeer food-making station.

Rudolph Run 
A charity fun run of 1.5km or 5km, raising funds for Rennie Grove Peace. Runners are encouraged to wear festive attire. 
Where: Outside Waterend Barn, St Peter's St, St Albans, Hertfordshire, AL1 3LE. 
When: Sunday 3rd December. Fun Run starts at 11:00 and the 5K run at 11:30. 
Tickets:  £10 adults, £6 child. Sponsorship funding welcomed! 
About: Rennie Grove and Peace Hospice Care are united in providing patient-centred palliative care for patients in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

A two-hour workshop to make a beautiful wreath from scratch, learn about Christmas tablescapeing and enjoy a mince pie and refreshments.

St. Albans choir singing disco tunes from past and present in jaw-dropping harmony.

About: The Trestle Theatre group has over 40 years of history and specialises in mask and physical performances. The theatre itself is housed in a former hospital chapel.  Some Voices is a non-audition pop choir, started in 2010 in London with just 7 members and has now grown to multi-location groups with over 1,300 members.

Sopwell House - Christmas Eve Celebrations
